Valentine's Day

“Let me tell you you’re beautiful tonight.” He said, leaning down to whisper those sweet words to her.
Shefelt her cheeks burn as she hugged his arm. He wore an elegant suit that left her speechless when she saw him.
The moon shone on high; poetic, sweet, dreamy. Bathing with a silver halo the two young lovers who were walking on the fantasy night of February.
“You look amazing too, my love.” She whispered back, with an embarrassed (but melodic) gentle laugh that made him skip a heartbeat.
Hypnotized by the symphony, he looked down to discover, surprised, that her fiery green eyes found his.
And, oh, for all Michelangelo’s compositions… She was beautiful.
The enigmatic and silky black dress with flight, showing her long and sensual legs. The black of the dress and the pallor of her skin; the music written in the flush of her cheeks.
Her green eyes, fierce like the panther’s, furious like the worst storm … And alive like the jungle itself. The greedy glitter of those emeralds-How much he allowed himself to admire them when she wasn’t conscious; rebellion whispered by a latent heart.
The cloak bathed her precious golden curls, forging the greatest treasure that no pirate ever came to bury. The ambition of every stray sailor, the origin of the legends of the sirens. His treasure His dream. His love.
Almost like a film’s promising beginning and disheartening end, the music of a street band got them drunk with their chords.
And maybe it was the accordion man, maybe the violin … Maybe God himself, captivated by the slow burning fire in that shared gaze or perhaps the deep love that would soon consume them, but the music died to be reborn: a beautiful tango.
They looked at each other, listened and smiled.
And they immersed themselves in the music.
His hand on her waist; embracing her, pulling her closer.
They held hands; drunk, drunk with love. They clung to each other with a simple promise:
There’s no world tonight. Just you. Just Me. Only us and how much we love each other.
Her free hand on the arm that held her; and they let themselves go.
One step, another; a slip and a smile
God, if you hear me, freeze this moment: never let it die.
One look, one chill. She moves away, she walks away.
Isn’t she beautiful? God, yes, insanely beautiful.
And he offers his hand with a never-pronounced plea: come back.
And she takes it.
And she spins, and spons, and a love laugh escapes.
This is crazy.
And they meet. And he hugs her. His arms wrap around her with a clear message: I’ve missed you.
And they smile, and look at each other; you’re crazy.
And with their hands still intertwined and cast eyes, they start walking again; one, two. Crazy for you, you stole my sanity.
One two Three.
One two Three.
This is the tango-its infinite and wild poetry written by young romances and dreams broken by never given kisses; this is the tango: the body’s language.
And she’s lost in the ocean captive in his eyes, and in the reflection of passion on his lips. Enjoying the touch of his strong hands.
And they turn, and one step, and one more: tonight will always be ours.
One look, one smile-Fall! : His firm hand cradles the artistic curved line of her back. A bridge to her lips, a road to frenzy.
He smiles and thinks: so many years of art history … And they forgot to mention you.
Time turns, shudders and expands. Everything and nothing falls from the sky, icy.
Her golden curls fall cascading, and caresses his fingers. Her eyes smile and her lips promise without speaking: this is our night.
And he smiles at the surprise in the feline glitter in her charismatic green eyes: I would never let you fall.
And she smiles in an intimate joke and her left hand rises to his face, unable to control the spell of the music that welcomes them. She needs to touch him: I think I’ve already fallen for you. And her hand is lost in the luxuriance of his black hair, and finds stability in the vulnerability of his skin.
And the stares are silent, silent forever.
And hands dance, they run anxiously.
She raises her left leg in a sweet invitation.
Sweet sin and bitter immortal promise.
Promise me you’re mine …
His dark eyes cover the bare skin, his hand reads the poetry written in kisses during sleepless nights.
And they get scared, and they meet.
I promise I am yours and no one else’s.
